By combining classical techniques with alienating effects, Stefan Peters creates a world that oscillates between dream and reality, past and future. A good example of this is the series Vistas: imaginary mountain landscapes. He is currently working on a new series of mountain landscapes that mirror each other and on a performance in which he paints a landscape and makes it disappear again as if it was never there.
